Billund Aquaculture founder establishes new RAS company
Christian Sørensen has partnered with other industry experts to create an alliance to promote land-based aquaculture technology globally.
The name of the new company will be Billund Aquatech.
"By building on the legacy of Billund Aquaculture Group, Sørensen has teamed up with selected experts from the organisation to form a collaborative alliance. This new venture combines decades of expertise in the design, engineering, and project execution of RAS, while each partner operates independently," the new company says in a press release.
Together, they will offer complementary skills in technical engineering and specialised equipment production.
"Our vision is to continue to develop the RAS industry by using our proven experience and expertise to create the most reliable and efficient aquaculture systems globally," says Christian Sørensen.
Billund Aquatech says it will focus on innovative project designs, operational excellence, and delivery of customised equipment.
It adds that the industry can expect more details about Billund Aquatech's services in the coming months, as the company prepares its official brand launch later this year.
